Travellers can find an abundance of cultural events in Samoa throughout the year. The largest celebrations are Independence Day in June and the famous Teuila Festival in September. However, there are many smaller events throughout the year that are unique to the island, like the Palolo Raise festival that celebrates a delicious worm fished out from the sea.
