Samoa’s only international PGA sanctioned golf championship event is open to overseas professionals and amateurs. The SIFA Samoa Open will be played over three rounds at the picturesque par-72 Le Penina Golf Course, Aggie Grey's Lagoon, Beach Resort and Spa at Mulifanua.
The event programme is as follows –
24 June: Fly-in for overseas pros and amateurs
25 June: Practice round and Media Launch
26 June: Pro-Am event for sponsors, pros and all interested amateurs
27–29 June: SIFA Samoa Open (54 holes)
30 June: Beach picnic and island tour for all visiting pros and amateurs
1 July: Fly-out
The SIFA Samoa Open 2012 is promoted by the Australia NSW/ACT PGA Division throughout Australasia and Oceania and will also be advertised on www.pga.org.au.
